Abstract

Numerical simulation of the waterjet propulsion characteristics with different geometrical parameters of the fluid section is made. The estimation of the maximum attainable speed impeller, the velocity of the fluid from the nozzle, the thrust, mass flow rate of fluid through the impeller and the speed of the boat, with a certain nozzle diameter, depending on the available capacity of the drive motor is conducted.
