Abstract

Natural frequencies and vibration modes of solid bodies are the most important parameters when designing structural elements in order to take into account dynamic loading conditions. The article presents the results of studies of natural frequencies and vibration modes of composite plates as functions of their structures (number and thickness of layers, angles and laying sequence), volume fractions of reinforcing fibers, boundary conditions. Numerical results for analysis are obtained using finite element method software (ANSYS).
