Abstract

Abstract. It is shown theoretically that in a gas turbine of a complex cycle with a free turbine and intermediate heating is provide the equivalence of the criterion to effective: equality of the effective efficiencies of a simple and complex cycle and the maximum degree of pressure reduction in a free turbine with the degree of pressure increase corresponding to this maximum in a gas turbine of a simple cycle. It is shown that with this degree of pressure increase is also provided compensation of energy losses in a processes of compression and expansion and, accordingly, the maximum specific work of a complex cycle, which becomes equal to the specific work of a simple ideal cycle. It is also shown that in the mentioned a gas turbine of a complex cycle, when used as a criterion to effective of the maximum degree of pressure reduction in a free turbine and the degree of pressure increase corresponding to the absolute maximum of this to effective criterion is provided the maximum value of effective efficiency, which can be achieved in a simple cycle, but due to an increase in gas temperature and, accordingly, economic the degree of pressure increase to its equality with mentioned the degree of pressure increase in a gas turbine of a complex cycle.
