Abstract

Currently, the development of automatic control systems is mainly carried out by linear methods. The prerequisite for this is a coherent theory of linear analytical methods developed over many decades, with its own mathematical apparatus and software. The analysis of accuracy, stability, controllability and further synthesis of linear systems is surprisingly simple and clear. At the same time, linearization involves cumbersome mathematical transformations that can lead to difficult-to-interpret results. In addition, linearization is not applicable for large impacts, in the case of non-stationary systems and significant nonlinearities. The development of the general theory of numerical experiment and, at the same time, hardware and computer software make it possible to analyze systems without linearization, the same information and in a more reliable form can be obtained directly from the numerical study of systems. And some, for example, accuracy, can be obtained analytically from the same differential equations. In the following material, using the example of a typical problem, it is shown how the analysis of accuracy, stability and controllability is performed using the initial differential equations, without resorting to the help of analytical methods.
