Abstract

There was proposed a computer model that allows to forecast the distribution of temperature field and the depth of diffusion layer in the local ion nitriding with the effect of hollow cathode for the details of any shape and size. There was investigate the influence of effect of hollow cathode in the local ion nitroding on distribution of temperature field using example of details of gear detail. There was studied the influence of effect of hollow cathode in local ion nitriding to the depth of hardened layer for a sample of steel 38HMYUA.
