Abstract

The aim of this work is theoretical and practical investigation regarding the evaluation of high-elastic properties of extrudates during extrusion under the influence of ultrasound. The effect of post-extrusion swelling of polymer melts attracts attention due to an obvious relation of this phenomenon to high elasticity – fundamental property of these systems, practical importance of record keeping of the extrudate size change for the choice of the required dimensions of the molding channels for fabrication of items with the required cross-section form.
