Abstract

This work is presented for the purpose of systematization of studies on the mixture formation in various mixing elements of liquid rocket engines. The work is based on the generalization of experience, accumulated both in the theoretical and experimental terms in the domestic LPRE engine. Recently, new data on two-phase gas dynamics, processes of a complex turbulent multilayered flow, etc. have been obtained in other areas of the chemical engines studied. Thus, for example, in the work on two-phase gas dynamics in a solid-propellant rocket, unique processes of interaction of liquid particles with each other-coagulation and crushing. The inverse effect of particles on gas and so on has been studied. The proposed analysis of calculation methods has as its goal the formation of initial data for thermal calculation in the zone of intensive mixture formation and further development of the structure of the complex method and the program calculation of heat exchange with the aim of carrying out operational multivariate calculations.
