Operation of optimal cutting speed value in broaching details of gasturbine engine by NC machine tool

Abstract

Results of theoretical and experimental determination of cutting temperature for each tooth of multiflute broach in broaching gas-turbine engines details of difficult-to-cut material subject to number of simultaneous cutting teeth are represented. New method of high-speed broaching with changing cutting speed to optimal value on each broach section is proposed.
