Abstract

Results of theoretical and experimental determination of cutting temperature for each tooth of multiflute broach in broaching gas-turbine engines details of difficult-to-cut material subject to number of simultaneous cutting teeth are represented. New method of high-speed broaching with changing cutting speed to optimal value on each broach section is proposed.
