Abstract

One-dimensional model of local flow restriction and total pressure recovery factor behaviour in compressible flow are discussed. Comparative (in one- and two-dimensional formulation) numerical simulations of finite amplitude wave motion are carried out. Their results allow to make conclusions on limits of adequacy of models based on the one-dimensional formulation.
