Abstract

A complex study of physical and chemical surface properties and of selected operational characteristics was performed for a martensite steel after the stripping from its surface a defective TiN coating, using chemical and plasma electrolytic methods. The influence of the coating stripping method on the steel surface properties was revealed, and the implementation possibilities of the methods within the mass production maintenance technology were investigated.
