Abstract

Conventional technologies of brush seal production are considered, its disadvantages are noted. New design of solid brush seal segmented insertion is suggested, technological scheme of electrochemical shaping of such insertionis considered. Research results of main technology data (accuracy,roughness,productivity)are presented. Experimental investigation result obtained may be used in development of manufacturing operation and equipment for pulse electrochemical machining (pECM) of perspective sealing arrangements.
