Extrapolation of Flood Situation on the Base of Previous and Real-Time Data

Abstract

A shot-term forecasting method for flood situation estimation on the base of small volume and low accuracy of the initial data considered. The method is based on constructing one-dementional nonparametric functional models. Functional models obtains as the result of mutual analyzing the lows of water levels distribution related to various time sections. Application of an offered method for short-term forecasting of flood situation on the territory of Bashkortostan Republic considered.
