Development lightweight fan case of aircraft engine

Abstract

A design of an aircraft engine fan case with a mass less than that of the prototype metal body by 20 %. Reducing the mass of the fan housing is achieved by the features of the developed design and application of advanced composite materials. The experiment results found in foreign sources, made the verification of the mathematical model of the material used in the construction of the proposed housing.
