Abstract

described using a simulation model of gas turbine engine (GTE). The identification is based on testing and operation monitoring. On order to reduce the problem to finding out “non-functioning” parameters, a usage of dimensionless maps of components and finding out “dimensioning parameters” is proposed. The method, which uses registered parameters taken at several operation modes of GTE, finds out grouped parameter values, when parameters belonging to other groups are “frozen” at lower, and then upper values of their ranges. Further automation of the solution is shown using replicated (by mode) simulation model of GTE.
