Abstract

The dusty atmosphere negatively acts on many units of gas turbine engine (GTD). More all suffers the compressor, whose blades are subjected to wear by erosion. Are under specific conditions possible the deposits of dust on compressor blades, which lead also to worsening in the characteristics. The dust with air for the supercharging of labyrinth seals can fall in the bearing units, the lubrication system and the engine accessories. Air coolant also can contain the particles of dust, which precipitate out in the cooling channels and can stop up them, which can lead to overheating of blades and turbine disk. A study and averting of the vulnerabilities of units GTD to the action of dust is the important and vital problem, whose solution will make it possible to increase their resource. In the article the most vulnerable units GTD are shown and integral approach to their development and averting of the degradation of their characteristics with the operation in the dusty atmosphere is proposed.
