Abstract

 Provides physical - chemical model of the vapor film formation and development in the electrolyte-plasma polishing is considered. The mechanism and nature of the micro-roughness metal surface smoothing process is explained. The stages during the processing – from the emergence of a vapor bubble until it collapsing and removing microasperity from the component surface is considered schematically.
