Abstract

The problem of obtaining operating characteristic of centrifugal pump stage by means of mathematical modeling was considered. This problem was solved by means of mathematical modeling of three-dimensional turbulent flow of viscous incompressible fluid in the various design conditions of stages and the integral characteristics of flow, pressure and efficiency was obtained. The solution was carried out using a control volume method in the package STAR-CCM +. The computational domain consists of 1.8 million cells. The characteristics of pressure and efficiency levels depending on the supply were obtained and analyzed.
