Investigation of the possibility of wave additional сharging of the 4-stroke engine by air through an inlet valve by exhaust compression wave

Abstract

Results of investigations into the possibility of using intensified wave additional charging four-stroke engine «UMZ-341» exhaust compression wave through the additional wave exchanging pipe and the inlet valve. The calculations are performed in a modern package for numerical analysis of the piston engines and gas pipelines «Horsepower Lab 1D». Established, increasing the coefficient of charge of engine by more 11 percent compared with the classical additional charging reflected wave compression inlet.
