Abstract

 A method of ion nitriding of titanium alloy VT6 glow discharge with manifestation of the hollow cathode (EPA). The effect of EPA on the parameters of the glow discharge structure and phase composition of the alloy BT6. Currentvoltage characteristics measured microhardness depth of the nitrided layer and the surface being treated, analyzed the phase composition of samples nitrided in a glow discharge with expressions and manifestations without EPA.
