Abstract

 The article considers the mass loss from the surface of heat-shielding polymer composite materials under high temperatures. An introduced mathematical model describes the kinetics of the mass change of the fiberglass under time-varying high temperatures on the of experimental data basis. The given mathematical model is required to account the influence of the decomposition products of the fiberglass on the processes of heat exchange.
