Parallel algorithm for second order RKDG method for 2D magnetohydrodynamics system of equations

Abstract

 A parallel implementation of RKDG method for solving two-dimensional ideal MHD equations on triangular unstructured grid is considered. A software package using technologies MPI and OpenMP is described. The algorithms for solution monotonization and divergence-free reconstruction of the magnetic field for physically adequate results of calculations with a high order accuracy obtaining are presented. The results of test calculations acceleration obtained through the use of parallel technologies are discussed.
