Abstract

The paper presents the results of experimental studies of the influence of external factors (temperature and humidity of the air entering the compressor receiving device) on the wear of the friction units of the screw compressor on the basis of the analysis of the physical and chemical state of the lubricant during its operation in real time. It is shown that by systematically changing the ambient temperature and humidity can achieve a significant reduction in wear of friction surfaces of machine parts. With this approach, the diagnosis of friction units significantly reduces the cost of maintenance and repair; eliminates the possibility of premature replacement of a working unit with a new one.
