Functional model of plasma electrolytic treatment process as a control plant

Abstract

A functional IDEF0 model has been proposed for plasma electrolytic treatment process. The model analyses the process and its elements up to the third level of de-composition and incorporates methods of spectral diag-nostics for estimation of surface properties of the treated workpiece. A structure of an automated process control system has been proposed and an example of SCADA software prototype has been shown.
