There are considered the actual problems of life quality research. The analysis of existing approaches to the study and modeling of life quality is carried out. The hier-archical model of life quality in the form of triads and the cognitive model of the formation of life quality are devel-oped. It is offered a model of environmental management as an essential component of quality of life.
