Abstract

 The influence of the burnishing by roller on the endurance limit in bending the shaft diameter of 25 mm and 50 mm made of steel 20 and 25 mm diameter steel 40X with pressed-on sleeve. Assessing the impact of burnishing on the endurance limit of the roller on the criteria of residual stresses on the surface and the mean integral residual stresses showed that for the prediction of the fatigue limit increment hardened shafts with pressed sleeve should use the criterion of mean integral residual stresses.
