Abstract

An equivalent circuit of the plasma electrolytic oxidation process based on an analysis of the rapid change in the electrolyzer's electrical parameters as an electrical load for the power source has been developed. The analysis of a slow change in the parameters of the equivalent circuit during plasma electrolytic oxidation was carried out and an approach was proposed for diagnostic the properties of the surface layer based on the developed equivalent circuit. The adequacy and correctness of the developed scheme for the equivalent circuit of the plasmaelectrolytic oxidation process is confirmed by matching the final values of its parameters with the parameters of the surface layer for the equivalent circuit after treatment, based on the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method.
