Abstract

The article is regarded to the thermocyclic tests effect on the strength of carbon composite modified with mineral filler in order to increase its high temperature resistance. A comparison of the obtained data with  unmodified carbon composite is presented, and a study of the carbon composite structure before and after the modifier addition is mentioned. The results of the study reveal the effect of cyclically varying temperatures on the state of the carbon composite and allow to know the change in the composite strength properties after the matrix has been modified.
