Abstract

The method intended for the doping of the surface layers of a metallic material, which consists in treating the surface with a stream of high-energy ions and introducing them into the bulk of the material is called ion implanta-tion. Ion implantation allows you to create surface layers with high physicomechanical properties, which are not al-ways possible to obtain by other processing methods.
