Abstract

The issues of ensuring the accuracy of blade cutting of large-sized thin-walled rings are considered. An assessment of the manufacturability of the design of such parts based on an assessment of their geometric compliance is proposed. A mathematical model has been developed to evaluate the geometric compliance of large-sized thinwalled rings used as body parts for aircraft engines. The results obtained by modeling are evaluated by comparison with experimental data on the processing of the specified type of parts under production conditions.
