Abstract

The paper presents a method of numerical calculation of natural oscillation frequencies of a naturally twisted rod, considered as the first approximation of the model of real blades of gas turbine engines (GTE). The method is based on the fifth-degree spline method developed by the authors, which allows to solve very accurately the fourthorder differential equations arising in the problems of transverse vibrations of rods. In contrast to the known works, where bending vibrations are considered only in one plane, these studies are focused on the study of a more complex process of oscillations in the spatial bending of the rod.
