Abstract

In this paper, the effect of corona discharge activation of oxygen-containing polymer-containing lubricating and cooling technological means on the performance of the cut-ting tool is studied. The drilling operation is selected as metal machining. The effect of activated lubricating and cooling technological means on the durability of the cutting tool, depending on the cutting speed and feed rate, is stu-died. Based on the results of the experiments, the mathe-matical dependences of the period of stability of the cutting tool on the cutting speed and feed are established
