Abstract

Investigations of the deformation of a thin-walled cylinder fixed in a clamping device during honing of its hole under the action of a system of radial forces simulating the unclamping of bars in the DEFORM-3D V6.1 finite element modeling environment have been carried out. The analysis of various methods of fastening was carried out and the conditions were determined that ensure an increase in the accuracy of the honing of thin-walled cylinders.
