Abstract

This study is devoted to the verification of the simulation of the combustion process of a gasoline-air mixture behind two V-shaped stabilizers at various mixture temperatures in the ANSYS CFX system. Based on the calculation results, the effect of the temperature of the prepared mixture and the intensity of turbulence at the entrance to the computational domain on the length of the burnup zone is evaluated. The analysis of the obtained burnup curves is carried out and a conclusion is made about the qualitative and quantitative correspondence of the obtained mathematical model to the experimental first source.
