Technical condition assessment of aircraft gas turbine engines based on fractal analysis of the vibration level

Abstract

The article presents one of the possible approaches to solving the problem of the technical condition assessing of aviation gas turbine engines, namely its vibration state, based on the use of the mathematical apparatus of fractal analysis. The effectiveness of this approach is illustrated by the detection of excessive vibration turbojet dual-circuit engine with afterburner combustion chamber AL-31F according to the results of processing statistical infor-mation, was on-Board means of objective control with the work of engines of this type in flight.
