Abstract

The part wear resistance under friction depends on many factors. They are related to the part surface material state, surface roughness and working conditions. The part surface layer undergoes significant, uneven elastic and plastic deformations during operation. These deformations lead to changes in its physical and mechanical properties. Then the parts surface layer inherits the properties of its previous states.
