Abstract

The transformation of the structure and properties of the beta-titanium alloy Ti10Mo8Nb6Zr after high pressure torsion (HPT) has been investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the structure of the Ti10Mo8Nb6Zr alloy in its initial state is a ?-phase. After the HPT, a small number of secondary phases appear. Under HPT, the grain is refinement, which leads to an increase in the microhardness of the material.
