Abstract

 The study of efficiency is carried out. Modeling of  a two-phase flow in an inertial dust-proof device of the  V-type using various types of modeling of a two-phase flow "air-dust particles" was carried out using the software package (PC) Ansys Fluent. The simulation results were compared with the results of an experimental study of  a ?-shaped ROM made of a composite material and tested at the stand at the FSUE "CIAM". The test conditions corresponded to the take-off regime of the helicopter engine, on which the highest dust content of the air entering the engine through the particle separator during operation  is observed.
