Abstract

The article describes a method for increasing the efficiency of the power plant of an unmanned aerial vehicle with a small-sized gas turbine engine without a developed control system, which consists in regulating the area of the nozzle exit section by mechanically separating its end part. At the same time, the design features and the principle of operation of the developed device for the implementation of the proposed method are described. Also presented are the results of the calculations of the main parameters and characteristics of the power  installation of an unmanned aerial vehicle using the proposed method, their comparison with the initial version and the final assessment of the increase in efficiency.
