Abstract

The work is devoted to a problem of automation of plasma electrolytic oxidation technological process applied for advanced bipolar pulsed mode deposition of protective coatings on aluminum alloy surfaces. The estimation problem for unobservable parameters of the surface layer has been solved via indirect system identification using informative characteristics of electrical transients: integration constants, time constants and steady state the values of currents and voltages. The structure of the proposed automated system and algorithm of its operation have been discussed.
