Abstract

Discusses the possibilities of the method of spline functions of degree 5 defect 1 for the calculation of critical forces during buckling of a straight rod loaded by a longitudinal force at a time, personal ways of fastening its ends. On the solution of several test problems with exact analytical solution, analyze the accuracy of the proposed method. It is shown that the implemented algorithm is the application of the method of spline functions of degree 5 allows to determine the values of critical forces with a very high accuracy, restriction where you are only the possibilities of modern computers. The results of calculations by the method of splines compared with the results of calculations of the critical-ical forces in ANSYS. There are a number of advantages in the accuracy of the proposed spline method in comparison with methods implemented in ANSYS.
