Experimental studies of characteristics electric power plants for light UAVs

Abstract

The article describes a stand for conducting experimental studies of electric power plants used on light unmanned aerial vehicles. Static characteristics of a number of propellers were obtainedon the developed stand: thrust, power consumption and energy efficiency from the rotational speed. The obtained results were compared with theoretical positions for propellers with internalcombustion engines, with an electric motor having similar parameters, as well as with the calculation results in the  Propeller Selector program designed for selecting an air  propeller to an aircraft.
