Abstract

Nowadays, oceanographic research and underwater maintenance work are not possible without the use of various types of underwater vehicles. However, each type of vehicles has a number of disadvantages, which significantly limit the scope of its application. In underwater robotics, there is a trend in the design of hybrid underwater vehicle (HUV), consisting of two different types of vehicles. Because of the growth in the number of hybrid HUV, an urgent task is their comparative analysis and determination of development prospects.
