Abstract

The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere from gas turbine power plants. This can be achieved by using environmentally friendly hydrogen in the fuel. The article considers the effect of hydrogen content in the fuel mixture on greenhouse gas emissions using the Terra program. According to the results of the calculation, it was found that an increase in the proportion of hydrogen in the fuel mixture leads to a decrease in the formation of greenhouse gases. Considered are gas turbine plants that can operate on methane-hydrogen fuel. The combustion of hydrogen in large quantities in these turbines is possible due to the design features and the principle of operation of their combustion chambers.
