Simulation of thermal state of GTI in the test box

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the study of the thermal state of the GTU based on AL-41ST and its box, using a software package for 3D numerical thermogasodynamic modeling. The simulation was carried out taking into account the radiant heat exchange from the heated surfaces of the GTU at different ambient temperatures and the operation of the ventilation system of the box. The influence of the degree of blackness of the walls of the box on the distribution of temperature fields has been studied. As a result, the fields of flow parameters inside the box and on the heat-generating surfaces of the GTU under various conditions are obtained.
