Abstract

This work is devoted to the study of the possibility of forming chemical nickel coatings on parts of power plants from the AlSi10Mg alloy produced by selective laser alloying. It is shown that the nickel coating formed on the surface of an aluminum alloy part produced by selective laser alloying, despite the initial high surface roughness, is uniform and has no pores or breaks. At the same time, in order to produce a high-quality coating, before the nickel plating process, it is necessary to carry out a fourstage surface preparation, which consists in the etching of parts, their brightening, matting and surface activation, and the duration of the nickel plating process should not exceed 90 minutes
