Abstract

The paper presents an overview of systems that ensure the optimal temperature regime of power plants (PS) of aircraft (LA). As part of the review, an analysis was made of the main trends related to the thermal control of the components of the power plants of subsonic aircraft. The main problems and development prospects for future research and development are formulated. The review is structured as follows, heat sources are considered first, then intermediate and final heat sinks. In the paper, heat sources are divided into those typical for high-bypass turbofan engines and inherent in hybrid and electric power plants. The subsection is devoted to the thermal control system providing heat recovery. It concludes by describing a number of concepts related to the introduction of new technologies, including: hybrid and electric power plants and ultra-high bypass turbofan engines.
