Abstract

Gas temperature in a combustion chamber of the most up-to-date reheated double-flow turbofan engines has reached a limiting value that has led to aggravation of engine life support problem. Ungrounded overrating of a gas temperature margin can have determining influence on engine life parameters and raise the question concerning the possibility of engine design according to the stated characteristics. Gas temperature margin of an airforce engine is grounded and parameter changes of assembly effectiveness that are relating to the engine operating time are given in the work.
