Abstract

Studied the direct and inverse wear of friction pairs, made of heat-resistant alloy and ceramic-metal material (cermet) of titanium carbide. It was found that the reverse friction pairs wear larger surface mainly due to the adhesion-fatigue processes, rubbing wear increases significantly in straight pairs due to additional abrasive mechanical wear.
