Abstract

An experimental stand has been developed to investigate the possibility of using vortex tubes in aircraft power plant cooling systems. The dependence of the cold air temperature on the outlet section of the vortex tube is established. The scheme of movement of the vortex tube throttle at certain screw rotations is considered, and the cross section of the canal for the hot air outlet is determined. A calibration graph is presented to determine the canal height at any value of the throttle displacement
