Abstract

The results of the project “Development of conservation and working-conservation lubricants for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, meeting the requirements of modern and advanced military equipment” are presented. The results of a project to develop and test new conservation oils (CO) and gun oils (GO) are presented. It has been shown that the developed CO and GO are significantly superior to the domestic analogues produced by industry and are not inferior to the best foreign samples in terms of protective properties and basic performance characteristics. Research was carried out to evaluate the cleaning properties of the developed GO. The developed gun oil has been confirmed to provide not only corrosion protection, but also cleaning and lubrication of small arms. Based on the test results, the shelf life of equipment and small arms preserved with new developed materials was calculated, which exceeds the time of protection of equipment and small arms by standard CO and GO. Acceptance tests of the new CO and GO grades were completed with positive results, and their industrial production was organized, a decision was received on the approval for use of the new CO and GO grades by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
